Hi, I can't seem to get my gallery to work. I ran the svBuilder Pro application from my desktop to build the galley. The preview in the application looks great, but when I deploy it to the server I get images that aren't showing up, and it is acting strange. Any input?

THANK YOU Jack, I went in to Flickr and set another photo as the first, and it is working. Something is wrong with that photo. I can't thank you enough! Jon

I'm using svmanager to pull my flickr feed.

My gallery is here:

You can see the white X where the first image should be, what am I doing wrong?

I tried to upload a photo into svmanager, thinking it would pull that image first, but no luck.

Any help is appreciated!

Can someone give me an idea of how to proceed with this? Moving hosts is not an option, and I wish I were tech savvy enough to troubleshoot all of this on my own. I appreciate any help or advice. Thanks.

Thanks Felix, that pointed me in the right direction. What I decided to do, for anyone else looking to do this, was set the following, which shows the caption in an overlay box at the bottom of the image, and it works great and looks elegant.

captionPosition = "OVERLAY_BOTTOM"
showOverlay = "ALWAYS"

I've run the svmanager test program. Basic and File work fine, but upload it not working. I contacted the host, they confirmed all permissions are set according to http://www.simpleviewer.net/svmanager/server_test.html.

They cannot offer further support. Any ideas how to proceed?

I have searched and searched but can't find an answer. I'm running SVpro with svmanager. I want to have the caption appear under the main image. Numerous posts reference changing the options.as file, but my version of PRO says all configuration is done within gallery.xml. With that said..

I've tried implementing the caption options from this link: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … ml#caption

When I set  captionPosition = "TOP", the caption appears overlaid on the images.
Whe I set  captionPosition = "BOTTOM" the caption appears under the thumbnails.

I just want it under the main image. What am I missing?
