Topic: only basic authentication is supported - message

Hi,

Can anyone help? When i try to add an image and click 'upload', the message 'only basic authentication is supported' keep poping up and doesn't allow me to add images. Does anyone know why this is?

It could be that the java upload applet is not compatible with the server or proxy server that you are using. The java applet only supports basic authentication.

Did your run the svManager server compatibility test? I'd expect it to give the same message as svManager itself.

Try a question to your server support people – tell them you are trying to use a java applet that uploads image files using the http protocol and tell them the error message that you are getting.
