Topic: Permissions in IIS

I need to protect my galleries via NTFS permissions but the Upload Manager will not work unless I give the anonymous user full permissions.

Any suggestions anyone ?

Is it just the uploader? Could you manage without it, upload with ftp and rebuild the gallery after upload?

I don't know if there's another way round it – I mostly use Unix servers myself – anyone else with IIS experience on the forum able to help?

All other functionality works, only the uploader in Java doesn't.

Unfortunatly uploading with FTP is to technical for my users.

I'll play around with the NTFS permissions some more.
