Topic: Flickr image limit?

Hi guys,

New to simpleviewer pro, and loving it so far.

Im trying to build a gallery for 1275 Flickr images from a sporting event, but it seems I cant get more than 25 pages (I have the thumbnail nav set to "numeric") of thumbnails?

Is there an image limit? I get the "Flickr Image Count" to 2000... so Im unsure?

Thanks!!

At the bottom of the main page for the Pro version where the features are listed.

Maximum images per gallery: 500

Well that was a waste of time and money. Oh well.

Hi,

the 500 image limit per gallery is due to a limitation in the Flickr API, so there is no way around it. The work around is to split your large gallery up into multiple smaller galleries.

From a usability perspective it probably makes sense to limit your galleries to under 500 images. It's unlikely that anyone is going to click through > 500 images in one sitting.
