Topic: Resizing thumbnails

Hi:

We have downloaded SimplerViewer-Pro v2 and we are connecting it with Flickr sets.

Everything goes fine except the resizing of the photos in the thumbnails (they don´t appear in photos real proportions). We have read about a similar problem in the v1.9 forum and you suggested them to edit the .as files...

The fact is that we don´t find the files you mentioned. In the package we have downloaded there are either no .as files nor .swf files, just the examples. Where we can find them?

Thank you,

Ignacio

If you are using Flickr as the image source, the generated thumbnail images are square. The thumbnail images are resized and cropped to fit the thumbnail area defined by the thumbWidth and thumbHeight options.

Thanks for your response.

The problem is that using this way the thumbnail will never show the entire image. Is it possible to show a flickr photo with its real proportion? Do you know if there's some way to change the proportion of thumbnail? I mean without a square-based thumbnail.

Re: Resizing thumbnails

Flickr generates square thumbnails. If you want none square thumbnails, you will need to use an XML gallery generated using one of these methods: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … rt/#create
