Topic: Working with Autoviewer Pro

I'm trying to use Auto Viewer with a few different galleries. I.e Gallery1 on 1 page, and Gallery 2 on the other etc.

So far I have

    <script type="text/javascript">
        var fo = new SWFObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", "100%", "100%", "8", "#130b02");

        fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery2.xml");
        fo.write("flashcontent");

    </script>

But it isnt recognizing the second gallery. I have it in the same folder as my other gallery, which is working. The code on those pages are

    <script type="text/javascript">
        var fo = new SWFObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", "100%", "100%", "8", "#130b02");

        fo.write("flashcontent");

    </script>

I have All the images in an image folder. to which the galleries look, some of those images are sub divided into other folders, and the gallery.xml (original) can find those fine.

And also, if you might wonder why it is SWFObject, instead of FLASHObject. The source code i have uses FLASH, but when i used that it really scaled the images down, I tried messing with it, but couldn't get it to un-scale. so i resorted back to the free download SWFObject code. and i'm talking specifically

        fo.addParam("scale", "noscale");

In,

    <script type="text/javascript">
        var fo = new FlashObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", "100%", "100%", "8", "#181818");
        fo.addParam("scale", "noscale");
        fo.write("flashcontent");
    </script>

Any help to get me started would be greatly Appreciated,
Gregg Staley

Re: Working with Autoviewer Pro

Are the two galleries on the same HTML page or different pages? Is the gallery online so I can take a look?

Re: Working with Autoviewer Pro

they are on 2 separate pages, and i do have the gallery online. (in a test phase only)

Also I should add, it works on my desktop, but when I uploaded it, I get all kinds of X's where the images should be.

Re: Working with Autoviewer Pro

Also I fixed why the images weren't showing up. it was an Error with my server uploading pictures as .JPG when the code is looking for .jpg. aside from that I still haven't made any head way with the multiple galleries, and why it appears with small images on my desktop and the way i want it online.

Oh and i did forget to mention, the Pro source code I'm working with is from 1.3, but im using the demo code from the newest version found http://www.simpleviewer.net/autoviewer/

For http://www.sbcarshops.com/testArea/88-P … ments.html

siteEngagements/viewer.swf does not exist http://www.sbcarshops.com/testArea/88-P … viewer.swf gives a 404 not found error.

galleryEngagements.xml does not seem to exist where the gallery will be looking for it, you get a 404 not found error.

why it appears with small images on my desktop and the way i want it online.

The images can display smaller in firefox if the height of div is not defied. You can see examples of how to do this in the AutoViewer download example HTML files.
