Topic: Strange colour change with automated Photoshop CS4 program?

Anyone know why im getting a colour change when i use the CS4 photoshop tool on my images to create the gallery?
Saving them normally they look as they should.
When auto saved into directories using the wizard they seem to apply their own colour profile which in some way make my pictures look better but not as i originally created them. If it is a colour profile thats being applied i sure cant find which one its choosing in photoshop.

Any help?

Im currently using Flickr instead but would like to know if its an issue anyone else has noticed in photoshop CS4.

Also if anyone knows what colour profile is being applied id like to know smile

Re: Strange colour change with automated Photoshop CS4 program?

The Photoshop script saves the images as sRGB IEC61966-2.1 using Relative Colormetric.

Relative colorimetric
The goal in relative colorimetry is to be truthful to the specified color, with only a correction for the media. Relative colorimetry is useful in proofing applications, since you are using it to get an idea of how a print on one device will appear on a different device. Media differences are the only thing you really would like to adjust for. Obviously there has to be some gamut mapping going on also. Usually this is done in a way where hue and lightness are maintained at the cost of reduced saturation. Relative colorimetric is the default rendering intent on most systems.

Re: Strange colour change with automated Photoshop CS4 program?

I have the same problem: I have my Flickr gallery with some image. I have modificated them with photoshop, saved like normal JPG and load on Flickr (where I see the picture with the correct colours)
One time my simpleViewer gallery takes some pictures from my Flickr gallery, it change their colours!

Any suggestion to have normal pictures also in SV gallery?
Thanks a lot!!
