Topic: Image names - can I remove them from Flickr style SlimViewer?

I am also highly impressed with SimpleViewer. I have done a quick trial using some images on Flickr and it looks good except for the fact that some captions scroll off the page.

I guess that I could reduce the number of thumbnails to six but is there a way that I could remove the image name instead?

Here is the page in question http://nickw.worldonline.co.uk/etc/misty/misty.html

I think you can remove the filenames of the pictures. Open the gallery.xml with any editor and remove the filenames between <caption> and </caption> for every picture.

For example:
<caption>picture1.jpg</caption> remove the filename picture1.jpg, so you will get <caption></caption>
Do this for every picture-filename than save the gallery.xml

The filenames of the pictures will not be shown now

Thanks but I am using the images from my Flickr account so I don't specify the details for each image in gallery.xml (as you do when manually setting up SimpleViewer).

SimpleViewer-Pro allows you to remove the Flickr Title via the 'flickrShowTitle' option: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … tml#flickr
