Topic: Joomla

Hey,

I'm excited about your product - and would go pro if it works... but I can't get it to work at all.

Obviously, I'm a doofus. Can this work with Joomla! and 1and1 hosting. Nothing happens - and I mean nothing.  I have to admit I know nothing about Flash so I could be doing something wrong somewhere.

Any clues about how to configure - file paths is probably the problem. I tried relative and absolute pathnames and have gotten nowhere.

Can someone throw me a clue?

Dana.

Re: Joomla

For starters  flashvars.galleryURL = "images/gallery.xml"; is telling the gallery that it will be able to find the gallery.xml at  tootsiep.danassite.biz/images/gallery.xml. If you try to navigate to that URL you receive a 404 not found error.
You list your SWF as being found at components/simpleviewer_203/web/simpleviewer.swf and there is an xml there too
http://tootsiep.danassite.biz/component … allery.xml is this the XML you are trying to use? If so change the flashvars.galleryURL line to flashvars.galleryURL = "/components/simpleviewer_203/web/gallery.xml"; if not where is the XML located?

Re: Joomla

It's in the images directory. I had copied it on my local drive, but not pushed it up  roll

Like I said, I'm a doofus.

Re: Joomla

One thing I noticed in your post was the preceding slash in the /components/... path.

I'll try messin' with the preceding / and see if it makes a difference. No difference once I'd pushed the file though...

Re: Joomla

http://tootsiep.danassite.biz/index.php … Itemid=167 is working for me I would try clearing your browser's catch.

Re: Joomla

Hmmmmm.

It's working in Chrome, but not in Firefox on this computer - OR - on another computer (mac, this time).

Maybe Ad Blocker Plus? But I've disabled it on that site...

Any known issues around Firefox (v3.6.8)?

Re: Joomla

Looks like you have an ampersand that you need to change to &.

Re: Joomla

Crap. It must be in the template, because I can't find it in my code anywhere.

Thanks. You're a god.
