Topic: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

Hi,

I wrote a very easy-to-use Freeware-Program named "TiltGMaker" for creating xml-Files/Gallery-Files for TiltViewer (not Pro), which creates automatically an according htm-File (with some options for TiltViewer-settings) to run/start the Gallery. No Flicker!

BUT only available in German language (maybe you notice my bad English :-).

Of course: Use at your own Risk!!!

Opening an alien xml-File with TiltGMaker will DESTROY the xml-File completely!!!

If you'd like to test my Program, visit www.rr4u.de, click on "Downloads" and scroll down to "TiltGMaker".

Instructions for not German speaking Users:

- Download the zip-File
- Unzip it to a new Folder of your Desire (with write-Rights)
- Copy your "swfobject.js" and "TiltViewer.swf" into this Folder

Again: Use at your own Risk!!!

Opening an alien xml-File with TiltGMaker will DESTROY the xml-File completely!!!

Regards
Roland

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

Recently I made an update for my TiltGMaker, which now supports

- an URL for each Picture in the Gallery (linkurl=)
- a default-text for "linkLabel"

Please remember: Opening an alien xml-File with TiltGMaker, which was not created by TiltGMaker itself, will DESTROY the xml-File completely!!! Of course only if you save it with TiltGMaker :-)

So use it at your own Risk!!!

And do NOT put your cat into the microwave-oven to dry its wet fur!!!

An english demo-gallery, completely made with TiltGMaker is there: http://www.rr4u.de/4test/!startlinksen.htm
A german demo-gallery, completely made with TiltGMaker is there: http://www.rr4u.de/4test/!startlinksde.htm

Download both demo-galleries in a zip-File: http://www.rr4u.de/4test/4test.zip (without TiltGMaker)
The zip-File does NOT include "swfobject.js" and "TiltViewer.swf", because I may not distribute them.

Download TiltGMaker: http://www.rr4u.de/

Have fun with TiltViewer!
And more fun with TiltGMaker ;-)

Regards
Roland

TiltGMaker does NOT support options of TiltViewer-Pro!

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

The actual, new Version of TiltGMaker (20101101) now supports some HTML-Tags like bold, italic, underline, fontsize and fontcolour on the backside of each picture.

Roland

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

Actual new TiltGMaker (version 20101122) now supports zipping a whole Gallery completely into one zip-file.

Nice and usefull for sending a complete Gallery to a friend without publishing the Gallery to the Internet.

"Galerie/Speichern und zippen" is the very new command for doing this ;-)

Roland

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

Since the new version 20110212 TiltGMaker supports Drag-and-Drop for adding pictures to a gallery  smile

The easiest way to create a gallery:

Galerie > Neu...
then create a new folder and change into the new folder, type in the name of the new Gallery and click on [Speichern] or [Save].

Drag and drop from Windows-Explorer all the pictures, you want to use in the Gallery, onto the window of TiltGMaker.

Now TiltGMaker copies each dropped file into the folder, in which you created the Gallery.

If a picture-file (*.jpg/*.jpeg) already exist in the folder of the Gallery, you'll be asked what to do: Overwrite or Add Again to the Gallery.

After you have finished with dropping pictures onto TiltGMaker, you should click on:
Extras > Eigenschaften der HTML-Startdatei...
There you should click on the blue "Maximaler Bildseitenwert:" and confirm.
Then you should click on the bottom Button [HTML-Startdatei speichern und Galerie testen]. Confirm an watch ;-)

Please remember: Use at your own risk!
TiltGMaker needs the both files "swfobject.js" and "TiltViewer.swf" in his own folder (where you unzipped tiltgmaker.exe to from my original ZIP-file).

BTW: If your Gallery is ready and works fine on your home PC, but you don't know which files have  to be uploaded to your Internet-Homepage for publishing your Gallery, just click on:
Galerie > Speichern und zippen...
and confirm. The resulting ZIP-file contains ALL files used in your Gallery. Then you'll have to upload the CONTENT of the ZIP-file to your Internet-Homepage, NOT the ZIP-File itself...

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

Now (new Version 20110301) TiltGMaker is able to rotate pictures clockwise (or with pressed [Ctrl]-Key counterclockwise) for 90°.

This function only appears after a click on "Extremwerte ermitteln" in the lower left corner.

This function does NOT make any backup of the original file!

Roland

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

New Version 20110330 of TiltGMaker copies all Pictures, that will be used in the Gallery, automatically into the Folder in which you have created the XML-File.

You'll be asked if you want to overwrite an already existing Picture in the XML-File's-Folder.

Regards
Roland

BTW:
Completely new is my freeware-program named "FlipBMaker", which creates PageFlips-Books :-)

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

Well, there is a new version of my TiltGMaker out there.

In version 20110717 I made a few changes ;-)

The downloaded ZIP-file from my Homepage (www.rr4u.de) now includes a file named "TiltGMaker.eng.rtf", which is an English (very very short) description, how to use TiltGMaker for creating new galleries. You should read this file first!

After starting TiltGMaker, you can press [F11] to load the English very-very-short-instructions into the Helpscreen of TiltGMaker, too.

Most important (and comfortable) changes on version 20110717 of TiltGMaker:

The little pale-yellow stay-on-top window, which appears if you click on the command
"Bild/Bild(er) der Galerie hinzufügen..."

The command "Bild/Bild(er) der Galerie hinzufügen..." hides the mainwindow of TiltGMaker and shows the little pale-yellow stay-on-top window.

This "little pale-yellow stay-on-top window" is the main new GREAT feature of TiltGMaker!

Because it is a "Copy and Convert to JPG and Add-To-Gallery"-Tool ;-)

=====

That "little pale-yellow stay-on-top window" accepts via Drag&Drop
*.bmp
*.gif (but TiltViewer does not support Animations, nor TiltGMaker)
*.jpg/jpeg
*.pcx
*.png (but TiltViewer does not support Animations, nor TiltGMaker)
*.tga
*.tif

In fact, the "little pale-yellow stay-on-top window" loads the dropped picture hidden without displaying it, converts it to JPG (in memory) and then saves it renamed and converted as JPG-file into the gallery-folder. With lowercased new filenames!

=====

Any information in "TiltGMaker.eng.rtf" is possibly wrong or possibly and completely false at all!
Use at your own risk!

Roland

Re: German Front-End for *.xml of TiltViewer

New Version 20111011 now is able to create an additional - very simple - HTML-File with that often by *Steven Speirs* mentioned iFrame-HTML-Line in it ;-)

=====
Link to a iFrame-Demo completely made with TiltGMaker:
http://www.rr4u.de/4test/!i_!startlinksen.htm
Take a look at the HTML-Sourcecode there ^ :-)
=====

And like always: Use TiltGMaker at your own risk!
