Topic: crossdomain.xml

My installation of Simpleviewer Pro v.2.03 works great most of the time smile My client's site: http://fairwayelectric.ca

Problem: about 1/3 of the time when I load a page with a Simpleviewer gallery, I get an "XML Not Found" message, and a peek in Developer Tools shows that simpleviewer.swf is calling "crossdomain.xml". WHERE IS THIS COMING FROM? ALL of my galleries, images, xml files, swf files, swfobject.js and other files are on the same domain?!?

If I reload the page - it works! Without changing anything?!? Obviously I need it to work every time, the first time... Please help! smile

Re: crossdomain.xml

This is a security issue with flash, it is happening when you mix sub-domains, no sub-domains and different domain names. Try adding a crossdomain.xml from the instructions bellow, just replace www.simpleviewer.net with www.fairwayelectric.ca in the example.

Re: crossdomain.xml

I see. Even the www subdomain does that...OK. I've installed the xml file as instructed and if all goes well you won't see me on this thread again smile

Thanks!! Love it!
