Topic: Adding SV stops my jQuery menu

I'm been trying to get this http://tympanus.net/codrops/2010/06/28/ … -out-menu/ jquery menu system to work alongside SV, but I'm not having any luck.
Seperately, they're both fine - yet the moment the first line of SV code is run, the menu stops functioning.

So the HTML body looks something like:

<div id="container">
<ul id="slidingMenu" class="slidingMenu">
    <li><a href="#">1</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">2</a></li>
    <li><a href="#">3</a></li>
</ul>

<div id="apDiv1">
<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
 $(document).ready(function () {
 SV.simpleviewer.load("apDiv1", "625", "570", "313131", true);
});
</script>
</div>
</div>

Is this a fault with SV? Or am I doing it wrong?
All help appreciated!

Re: Adding SV stops my jQuery menu

SimpleViewer 2.1 uses jQuery for the mobile version of the gallery, so there may be a conflict issue. You could try using jQuery's no conflict portion of their API with the menu. If you don't care about the mobile/non-flash gallery you could use the old embed code, otherwise please post the URL for the page that is having the issue.

Re: Adding SV stops my jQuery menu

Thanks for that, it's working now.

I simply inserted $.noConflict(); in to the SV part.

Re: Adding SV stops my jQuery menu

This should be fixed in the version that was just released, SimpleViewer 2.1.1. To upgrade delete the svCore folder from your server and upload the new svCore folder from the SimpleViewer 2.1.1 download and clear your browser's cache or you can upgrade the gallery using in the new version of svBuilder.
