Topic: Dynamic XML call?

Hi,
I'm wishing to dynamically change the XML feed to show a choice of galleries in the same page and instance where simpleviewer is installed. I've studied the documentation and the forum and recognize to use galleryURL to specify the XML, but am unclear what must be called to see that new gallery?

Also, I am unclear on the preferred embedding  method for the latest versions on- is it via the JQuery  $().ready method shown here http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … dding.html or via the swfobject method? I assume the latter is overridden for HTML 5 support. In which case, how does this effect the dynamic XML goal above?

You need to write some JavaScript that will feed your XMLs to the galleryURL var, there have been several post on the forums about it. Another option would be to rewrite my SWFAddress SimpleViewer 2 Actionscript example for JavaScript. Part of that has already been done you just need to add the gallery name part back in.

If you want to use the mobile gallery you should be using this method to embed the gallery, otherwise you can use the SWFObject method.
