Topic: Liquid Layout Breaks (HTML Embed)

I swear I had this layout working previously: a SimpleViewer gallery contracts or expands inside its container when the browser window is resized. But now the gallery seems to be ignoring its container, and not resizing at all. Here's the example (tested in FireFox and Chrome):

Using the same config options, the embed code that SimpleViewer generates resizes just fine:

So, what is causing the gallery to remain at a set width, instead of contracting/expanding with the rest of the page?

I'm using Pro version 2.1.1 btw. Thanks!

Re: Liquid Layout Breaks (HTML Embed)

Ensure that all the parent containers of your gallery have their dimensions specified in percentages rather than absolute pixel values.
Also, ensure that useFixedLayout is set to "FALSE" as this will prevent dynamic resizing based on browser window size.

Re: Liquid Layout Breaks (HTML Embed)

The parent containers were set to percentage widths, and the useFixedLayout was set to false. I ended up changing the css of the div that contains sv-container from:

#main-gallery {
    float:left;
    height:100%;
    margin-left:20px;
    min-width:800px;
    position:relative;
    width:76%
    }

To:

#main-gallery {
    float:left;
    height:100%;
    margin-left:20px;
    position:relative;
    }

And then changing the embed code to reflect the 76% width. There was some conflict between the CSS and embed code that was giving sv-container a static width of 1274px. Now it's working the way I hoped it would:

Thanks again for the response!
