Topic: SimpleViewer looks different between IE7 & Firefox 3.6

Hi,
Just revamped my galleries and frontpage slideshow. Initially experienced the yellow/brown background problem, which was corrected using ‘params.wmode = "transparent", but now the styling of my frontpage slideshow and galleries look different between IE7 (incorrectly shows buttons & titlebar appear) and Firefox 3.6 (correctly shows no buttons & titlebar). All looks fine on IE6.
I hope you can help
Thanks in advance!
An example of the problem can be found here: http://www.paulpopephotography.co.uk/sl … eshow.html

It looks fine to me in IE did you try clearing your browser's cache?

Yes, I have deleted the cache. On my machine with IE7 the slideshow should scroll automatically, and display no buttons, but it doesn’t. It scrolls and displays correctly in IE6 and Firefox. I have no idea why the formatting is different for me between IE6 & IE7! I have made other galleries which also show incorrectly in IE7 (i.e. thumbnails fail to appear).

Just noticed that the demo of simpleviewer here: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/examples/modern/
looks different on my machine between IE7 & FF. No thumbnails appear in IE. Looks correct in FF.

Are you using the latest version of flash in IE7? 10,1,102,64

I'm guessing you don't have Flash installed for IE. Check your Flash installation here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
