Topic: iframe embed works for one slideshow but not since

Hi,

I made a very nice slideshow with simpleviewer locally installed on my laptop. I embedded it in the body of a drupal node and it works fine: http://snapdigital.org/node/11

I made a 2nd slideshow and the iframe code won't work:

This is how it looks in context: http://snapdigital.org/node/46

Any pointers?

Re: iframe embed works for one slideshow but not since

It looks like the iframe has been entered as text rather than code and, as such, the XML character entities have been escaped, ie " becomes " < becomes < and > becomes >
If you view the source for the page, you'll see this:

<iframe src="http://snapdigital.org/snapdigital.org/sites/default/files/simpleviewer/tongaridge/tongaridge.html" width="900" height="750" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

Check the entry method when typing/pasting in the code to make sure it allows HTML tags (and iframes specifically).

Re: iframe embed works for one slideshow but not since

Hmmm, I am a noob at this so anything could be getting in the way. The frustrating thing is that I used the same settings with the first gallery and it worked fine. My drupal node is set to full html, and I didn't haveto do anything in particular with enabling any settings for iframe. I pasted in the code and the gallery was immediately embedded inside my drupal content box. I clicked save and I was in business.

Any other ideas for configuring galleries in a drupal environment?

This works for me: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … tml#drupal (Drupal 6)
... but you seem to be doing this already.
Selecting 'Full HTML' as the input format should work.
You can check the configuration settings of the input formats by going to Administer -> Site configuration -> Input formats

Also found this whilst Googling...
If using TinyMCE editor, try setting 'Verify HTML' to false.

Re: iframe embed works for one slideshow but not since

Thanks for getting back to me. I think I have it solved.

I wound up installing an iframe module to my site configuration and then making a new content type just for embedding iframes. It has worked for two additional galleries!

Now I feel comfortable in investing in Simpleviewer Pro.

I am loving simpleviewer. Best I've found to make slideshow content. The full screen option is outstanding!

Thanks again.
