Topic: Works perfectly in Firefox, not Chrome or IE

Hello.

I'm having a problem with SimpleViewer in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. It works perfectly fine in Firefox, but in the others browsers I'm not so lucky. The gallery is just showing of 70 % of the whole window in Chrome and IE, while in Firefox the window is centered on my page.

Check the size of all the parent containers of the gallery and make sure there are no HTML errors by validating your page with the W3C Markup Validation Service.
If you continue to experience problems, please post a URL to the gallery in question.

I am having the exact opposite issue... I cannot seem to get FF to display the slideshow on Windows OS. On my Mac FF works as do all the other browsers on mac or windows OS. But FF on Win OS doesnt work.. Unsure why that might be..

Your gallery displays fine in Firefox 3.6.13 on my Windows PC. (When you say you cannot seem to get Firefox to display the slideshow, what are you seeing: a blank area, an error message (Flash Player required, Gallery XML File Not Found) or something else?
Perhaps what you are seeing is described in one of the FAQs: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/support/faq.html
You should fix the HTML errors on the page in order for the page to be displayed with greater consistency between different browsers.
Also, you could try running Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) which is accessible from the Start -> All Programs -> Mozilla Firefox menu.  This will temporarily disable any extensions and themes that you have installed in order to ensure they do not interfere with your gallery page.
Failing that, you could try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and the Abode Flash Player for Firefox.

I am having a similar problem. I am using Firefox 3.x and Firefox 4.x beta. Simpleviewer presents perfectly in these browsers. Here are two examples:

In this one, the original images are the smallest resizes possible using XP PowerToys image resizer.

while in this one, the images are resized during the gallery build process, from high res images from a Canon 5D MkII.

In MSIE 8.x, the galleries present as a large image, taking up the entire screen top to bottom, but with navigation buttons on each side, the open in new window button at the top right, and the image numbers in the caption box at the bottom right.

Any ideas on this one?

Sounds like you are looking at the Mobile non-Flash gallery on IE. Check you have Flash installed on IE by going here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
