Topic: TiltViewer queries

Hi my name is Richard Shaver and I was just wanting to know how you downloaded svBuilder. I am trying to make a Tiltviewer of a Flicr account to put onto my website. I am new to all of this coding stuff. So try to keep it kind of simple if you can. Also, when I try to view my Tiltviewer gallery, it tells me that it requires javascript and flash player. And, when I check my version of flash player it says that I have the required version of flash player. When I look at my javascript in my internet browser it tells me that I have javascript turned on. I even when to Half Priced Books to try and find a book on coding to try and help me with this problem. Please Help! Thanks So Much, RIchard Shaver

Re: TiltViewer queries

There is no svBuilder equivalent available for TiltViewer. (Though, in answer to your question, svBuilder can be found in the Standard SimpleViewer download package found on this page: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/).

Methods of creating TiltViewer galleries can be found here: http://simpleviewer.net/tiltviewer/support/#start

Also, when I try to view my Tiltviewer gallery, it tells me that it requires javascript and flash player.

Check out FAQ #1: http://simpleviewer.net/tiltviewer/support/faq.html
(Ensure that all the required files are in their correct locations, including 'swfobject.js'. Take a look at the 'web' gallery in the TiltViewer download package to see the correct file structure.)

Re: TiltViewer queries

Now I have the svBuilder software and I can't figure out how to embed the code into my website. I have read and re-read over the embeding guide on your company's website. Please Help! Thanks So Much. Richard Shaver

Re: TiltViewer queries

I am still unsure whether you are using SimpleViewer or TiltViewer (svBuilder is for creating and editing SimpleViewer galleries but your initial post suggested that you are trying to create a TiltViewer gallery).
If using SimpleViewer, then the SimpleViewer Embedding guide can be found here: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … html#embed
If using TiltViewer, then the TiltViewer Embedding Guide can be found here: http://simpleviewer.net/tiltviewer/supp … dding.html

If you continue to experience difficulties, please post a URL to your gallery so that we can take a look and help further.

Re: TiltViewer queries

I do not have a url for this. I am using simpleviewer. And, I am just copying and pasting the code onto my website page and when I go to look at it all I get is a whole bunch of code. This is my problem. Please Help! Thanks So Much. Richard Shaver

Re: TiltViewer queries

Without seeing your code, it will be very difficult to determine the problem.
There are several FAQs that deal with galleries not being displayed correctly.
Perhaps one applies to your situation: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/support/faq.html

Are you copying and pasting the embedding code in a plain text editor or in some sort of web design software?  If the latter, then make sure that the code is being inserted as code rather than just text.

If you upload the gallery and post a URL, or post your web page's code and describe exactly what appears on screen when you view it in a browser, then I might have a better idea what is going on.

Re: TiltViewer queries

I now have my gallery posted to a website. It is at www.shaverfamilywebsite.com. But, when I try and go to look at it all I get is just a blank white page. Please Help! Thanks So Much. Richard Shaver

Re: TiltViewer queries

Where on the website is the gallery supposed to be?
I can find no trace of a gallery (or even a blank white page) anywhere.
