Topic: .mov files in simple viewer?

Ive been running simple viewer for some time now.

I'm about to update my portfolio that includes a demo reel which is a .mov file. Is there a way I can get the .mov file in there either in simple viewer of the pro version?

I still want the usual simpleViewer layout and the way it works. But whe I click on the'demo reel' thumbnail image I want the .mov file to play.

Can this be done? If so are the any instructions anywhere on the simple viewer website?

Thanks

Wayne

Re: .mov files in simple viewer?

Please see this FAQ: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … #general_1

SimpleViewer can load JPG, GIFs, PNGs and SWFs. Any other file types (text, video etc) are not supported.

This applies to both the Standard and Pro versions.

OK, so how do I load in a swf file... its will only let me load in jpg png gif in the svbuilder

Re: .mov files in simple viewer?

SimpleViewer only has limited support for swfs, to add them you need to edit your gallery.xml manually in a text editor.

Re: .mov files in simple viewer?

right managed to get it to load. problem is, it play automatically is there any code available to stop this happening and play when the viewer decides?

Or is it just not possible dude to the limited support simple viewer has for swf file?

Re: .mov files in simple viewer?

There are no built in controls for loading swfs in SimpleViewer, howerver you may be able to add controls to the swf that your video is in.
