Topic: Can I turn arrows off in SimpleViewer 1.5.4 (not pro)

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to turn the scroll arrows off in SimpleViewer 1.5.4 (not the pro version)? What about in SimpleViewer 2.0.5? Would I need to purchase the pro version in order to do this?

Thank you.
Stephanie

Re: Can I turn arrows off in SimpleViewer 1.5.4 (not pro)

It sounds like you are referring to the WP-SimpleViewer WordPress Plugin rather than SimpleViewer itself (judging by the version numbers you quote).
WP-SimpleViewer v1.5.4 uses SimpleViewer v1.8.5.
In this version, it is possible to turn off the scrolling arrows only by modifying the source code (which was supplied only with SimpleViewer Pro prior to v2), publishing a new SWF file using Adobe Flash and replacing the SWF file in the WP-SimpleViewer package with your new SWF file.

WP-SimpleViewer v2.0.5 uses SimpleViewer v2.0.3.
In this version, the thumbnail navigation arrows can be turned off by setting thumbNavStyle="NONE" in the 'Pro Options' box whilst creating/editing a gallery and the main image navigation arrows can be turned off by setting showImageNav="NEVER" (also in the 'Pro Options' box).

Both these options require SimpleViewer Pro and will not be active in SimpleViewer Standard.
To upgrade WP-SimpleViewer v2.0.5 to use SimpleViewer Pro, please follow these instructions: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … iewer/#pro

Hi Steven,

Thank you for the thorough explanation. I think I will upgrade to SimpleViewer Pro.... that's such a reasonable price.

I really appreciate your reply.
