Topic: Buttons Autoviewver with mozilla and safari

I included a AutoViewer swf in an html page. The buttons "Next, Previous, Play / Pause" gradually disappear in IE7, but still apparent in mozilla and safari. What can I add to the coding to remedy this? The web gallery was generated with dreameaver CS5.

Re: Buttons Autoviewver with mozilla and safari

Sorry, but I am still in development.

A part of the html coding :

<div class="content">
    <p>
      <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="840" height="560" id="FlashID" title="viewer">
        <param name="movie" value="viewer.swf" />
        <param name="quality" value="high" />
        <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
        <param name="swfversion" value="8.0.35.0" />
        <!-- Cette balise <param> invite les utilisateurs de Flash Player en version 6.0 r65 et ultérieure à télécharger la version la plus récente de Flash Player. Supprimez-la si vous ne voulez pas que cette invite soit visible. -->
        <param name="expressinstall" value="../../Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
        <param name="BGCOLOR" value="#ebe7d9" />
        <!-- La balise <object> suivante est destinée aux navigateurs autres qu'IE. Supprimez-la d'IE à l'aide d'IECC. -->
        <!--[if !IE]>-->
        <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="viewer.swf" width="840" height="560">
          <!--<![endif]-->
          <param name="quality" value="high" />
          <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
          <param name="swfversion" value="8.0.35.0" />
          <param name="expressinstall" value="../../Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
          <param name="BGCOLOR" value="#ebe7d9" />
          <!-- Le navigateur affichera le contenu alternatif suivant pour les utilisateurs d'un lecteur Flash de version 6.0 ou de versions plus anciennes. -->
          <div>
            <h4>Le contenu de cette page nécessite une version plus récente d’Adobe Flash Player.</h4>
            <p><a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer"><img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Obtenir le lecteur Adobe Flash" width="112" height="33" /></a></p>
          </div>
          <!--[if !IE]>-->
        </object>
        <!--<![endif]-->
      </object>
    </p>
  </div>

Thanks in advance,

Re: Buttons Autoviewver with mozilla and safari

If your SWF file is named 'viewer.swf' (rather than 'autoviewer.swf'), then you may be using an older version of AutoViewer.
Upgrade to the most recent version of AutoViewer (v1.4) which can be downloaded from this page: http://simpleviewer.net/autoviewer/ and make sure that the references to the SWF file in your embedding code match the SWF file's new name ('autoviewer.swf').

Re: Buttons Autoviewver with mozilla and safari

I have a problem with the download : have you a help for installing the product ?
Thanks for your help,

Re: Buttons Autoviewver with mozilla and safari

1) Download the AutoViewer Standard package from this direct link: http://simpleviewer.net/downloads/autoviewer.zip
2) Unzip the package
3) Copy the file 'autoviewer/autoviewer.swf'
4) Paste it into your gallery folder (alongside your existing 'viewer.swf' file)
5) Change your embedding code references from 'viewer.swf' to 'autoviewer.swf'
6) Delete the old 'viewer.swf' file from your gallery folder (not required but tidies things up)

Any suggestion ?

Re: Buttons Autoviewver with mozilla and safari

Try using the recommended method of 'Embedding AutoViewer in a HTML Page' found here: http://simpleviewer.net/autoviewer/supp … dding.html
Check out the 'Note For Dreamweaver Users' at the bottom of the page.

Re: Buttons Autoviewver with mozilla and safari

Thank you Stephen. It works fine now.
I also think taking the pro version to be able to adjust the character set of the sequence number and legend.
