Topic: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

I am using the wp-simpleviewer wordpress plugin, and I was thinking of using simpleviewer pro on my wordpress website for better gallery layout.

My questions:
1. Do I have to delete current setting/gallery that I have built using wp-simpleviewer wordpress plugin and set a new set of gallery using simpleviewer pro?

2. Or can I just continue the current gallery that I made using the wordpress plugin but when I upgrade to pro, the pro gallery setting will automaticly replace the current version?

Appreciated for your reply.

Re: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

Following these instructions: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … iewer/#pro will convert all existing galleries from Standard to Pro and will allow any Pro Options entered in the 'Pro Options' text area to become active.

Re: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

Ok so I upgrade to Pro and follow the upgrade instruction. So far it was success.
I install svBuilder-Pro, open it and uploaded my images.

After that I went to my wordpress pages, add simpleviewr, and in the Pro Option I paste embed code I got in the svBuilder.
When I publish the page, it said "can not parse Gallery XML".

How to make my wordpress page appear same as gallery that I build in svBuilder? Thanks in advande for the help given.

Re: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

in the Pro Option I paste embed code I got in the svBuilder

The Pro Options box in WP-SimpleViewer is to insert only Pro Options in the form:

autoPlayOnLoad="TRUE"

... not to insert embedding code (which explains the 'Cannot Parse Gallery XML' message).

Either use the WP-SimpleViewer WordPress Plugin on its own to create a gallery in a post as described here:
http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … pleviewer/
... or use svBuilder-Pro to create a gallery, upload the gallery folder somewhere (using an FTP client program such as FileZilla) and then insert the embedding code into your post using one of these two methods:
http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#external

Re: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

I use WP-SimpleViewer WordPress Plugin on its own to create a gallery in a post, but the layout is different than I I use the svBuilder-Pro.

I would like to use the method no. 1 at http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#external

However I am totally lost how to do it. Especially for the below part:
    * Set the simpleviewer.js import src path to the relative or absolute URL of the simpleviewer.js file in the gallery folder svcore/js folder

    * Set the baseURL value to the relative or absolute URL of the gallery folder.

How to do it using the method no. 1?

Re: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

It may be easier to use absolute URLs rather than to work out relative paths so the example below uses absolute URLs.

Set the simpleviewer.js import src path to the relative or absolute URL of the simpleviewer.js file in the gallery folder svcore/js folder.

This is the path to the 'simpleviewer.js' file in your gallery.
If your gallery folder is named 'mygallery' and you upload the gallery folder to the root of your web server, then the absolute URL to the 'simpleviewer.js' file in your gallery would be:
http://www.example.com/mygallery/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js

Set the baseURL value to the relative or absolute URL of the gallery folder.

The absolute URL of the gallery folder itself would be:
http://www.example.com/mygallery/
Therefore, the embedding code you would use would look something like:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.example.com/mygallery/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.baseURL = "http://www.example.com/mygallery/";
jQuery(document).ready(function () {
SV.simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "600", "600", "222222", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

Re: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

Is there any way so that when people click my page, the gallery simpleviewer automaticly go to the full screen?

Re: wp-simpleviewer plugin and simpleviewer pro

No. A SimpleViewer gallery cannot be started in fullscreen mode due to a Flash security restriction.
