Topic: button for New Gallery or Open Gallery doesn't function

Hi,

I just loaded svBuilder-Pro 2.1.1 and the "New Gallery..." or "Open Gallery..." doesn't function at all.  I even went to the menu bar and it doesn't function.  It use to work fine a day ago.  On the same computer if I were to log into a different account the buttons work fine.  It is a very unusual bug.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with the same results.

Please help!

What OS are you using? Does the account that is having the issue have administrator privileges?

I have Windows Home Premium and yes I do have admin rights to this account.

Hi,

You comment about admin or not allowed me to figure it out.  I had added a password on my account.  Now that I removed it, it's working fine again. 

Sounds like a bug that you guys might want to look into in the future and patch the program.  From a user perspective, adding or changing it should affect the ability of the program to function or not.  In anycase, that my humble QA customer opinion.

I'm not sure we have a lot of control over this issue as it sound like it has to do with Window 7's User Account Control settings.

Try this:

1) Close svBuilder-Pro
2) Delete this folder:
Mac: /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/svBuilder-Pro
PC: “C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS\svBuilder-Pro”
3) Restart svBuilder-Pro
