Topic: Adding lines to the Title field is svBuilder

Is there a way to create 2 or more lines (line breaks) in the Title field?

Re: Adding lines to the Title field is svBuilder

You can use an HTML line break <br>.
However, if entering this manually by editing an XML file, you'll need to escape the <> characters so a line break would become: &lt;br&gt;

Thanks for the response....I added the line break in the gallery html
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    <title>Custom<br>
    Cursor over the Photo for Description</br></title>
    <style type="text/css">

However, I'm not getting results.  Does it appear I'm adding the correct code?

Re: Adding lines to the Title field is svBuilder

The Gallery Title should be entered as an attribute in the opening <simpleviewergallery> tag in the 'gallery.xml' file, not the <title> tag in the HTML index page (which the browser uses as a title for the web page).
So, in the XML file, you could use:

<simpleviewergallery
title="Custom&lt;br&gt;Cursor over the Photo for Description"

However, in svBuilder-Pro, you can simply enter:

Custom<br>Cursor over the Photo for Description

... in the Title field (in the 'Customize -> Standard' page).
svBuilder-Pro will escape the necessary characters automatically.

Worked great, thanks again!
In order to change font size in the gallery.xml file, namely the title size, is it coded like html?

Re: Adding lines to the Title field is svBuilder

The title font size can be changed by either setting titleFontSize: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/pr … html#title or by adding HTML formatting to the title text: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#custom_2
In svBuilder-Pro, the Title Font Size can be found under 'Customize -> Title'.
