Topic: How do I change the position of Autoviewer on my web page?

I inserted this code into my html:

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<div id="flashcontent">AutoViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.
<a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash.</a></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject("autoviewer.swf", "viewer", "800", "600", "8", "#181818");
fo.write("flashcontent");
</script>

I am new to HTML so I am wondering, how would I put autoviewer in the middle of my page? Or how do I change the position in general?

Thank you in advance!

Re: How do I change the position of Autoviewer on my web page?

Positioning of elements in a web page can be achieved through use of CSS.
An excellent CSS reference guide can be found here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

If you are using the standard 'web' gallery as the basis for your gallery and want to have your 800px x 600px gallery centered, both horizontally and vertically, then try replacing:

#flashcontent {
        height: 100%;
}

... with the following:

#flashcontent {
    position: absolute;
    top: 50%;
    left: 50%;
    width: 800px;
    height: 600px;
    margin-top: -300px;
    margin-left: -400px;
}
