Topic: images on demand

Hi,
I'm new in html, sorry if I do not ask the question in the correct way.
I'm trying to find out if I can use this control to upload images upon request. let's says I have a folder with all images. if a user select an especific category of images, I want to show 3 images. if a user selects another category, I want to how another 5 images. i would like to pass the name of the images in hot.
I do not want to create xml all the time.
Can you tell me if this is posible?

Re: images on demand

You could use PHP to dynamically generate a custom XML file on-the-fly depending on the user's actions.
The embedding code should point towards a PHP file for the galleryURL, eg:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars={};
flashvars.galleryURL="gallery.php";
jQuery(document).ready(function () {
SV.simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

The file 'gallery.php' would contain the PHP code to generate the XML file.
This solution would require knowledge of PHP and your web server would have to have PHP installed.

Re: images on demand

You could use another server-side scripting language.  PHP was just a suggestion.
