Topic: Keyboard Focus

When users want to use keyboard to control a gallery (spacebar, arrows, f/F), before they start to do so, they have to click on flash itself, to set a keyboard focus to it. Is there any trick how to set keyboard focus automaticaly to flash object after loading, such as javascript for onload event on body tag?

Please advice.

Adobe has some suggestions in the link below and there are probably other options if you do some searching, however, giving flash the focus by default in now a very user friendly thing to do if there is other content in your page besides the gallery.

Based on your input I modified HTML code as shown below and it works!  :cool:

    <body onLoad="if (window && window.document && window.document.flashcontent)
    { window.document.flashcontent.focus(); }">
