Topic: Non-Flash Supporting Devices

I recently asked to be allowed to download the SimpleViewer Software again so that I could get the newest update because I read that it would support (somehow) the non-flash devices like iPod/iPad/iPhone.

I am currently using an embeded way to display the SimpleViewer Gallery:

I am sure I misunderstood, but is there anyway to get the look, feel, smell, and taste of the flash viewer look just the same in the non-flash device ?

I am not a code/developer, but before I go and send all this to the developer to update the site to the newer versions of files and make an attempt to make the site iOS friendly - I am trying to find out if its possible to make it look exactly the same with and without a flash enabled device.

Thanks.

This is not possible.  The HTML and Flash displays are very different and there are currently only a few mobile configuration options available: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/pr … tml#mobile

Thank you for the prompt response. I will need to have the developer research a replacement gallery option for my website, I'm being ding'ed a few times a week by people that cant view the site on their device and I dont want a whole "other" site to just enable them....
