Topic: Removing loadbar?

Hello - I have a simple little rotating banner that I don't want to see the main image load bar at startup (just want it to start the slideshow when it's ready).

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks, Don

Re: Removing loadbar?

You could set the preloaderColor to the same color as your gallery's background.

Re: Removing loadbar?

Thanks for the reply - but, this quickly goes over my head...

One thing, if I read correctly, the the default color for preloaderColor is already #FFFFFF and that is my background color, but the loading animation is a grey bar.  So, even if I figured this out, wouldn't I just be setting it to the default?

thanks, Don

Re: Removing loadbar?

When initially loading a gallery, a preloader is displayed.
The color of this preloader can be changed by using the preloaderColor Flashvar (as mentioned in my previous post).

However, if the user clicks on an image that has not yet been preloaded, then the gallery will display a different progress bar while the image loads, the colors of which cannot be changed. (The progress bar itself takes on the frameColor on top of a grey background.)
It sounds like you might be referring to these progress bars.

If you have only a small number of images in your gallery (less than 50), then you could minimize the likelihood of these image progress bars being displayed by setting imagePreloading="ALL".
