Topic: Mobile Player

After a few years unusing, I use again Simpleviewer Pro v.2.1.3. I saw the possibility of using mobile player for mobile devices. But how do I use that? I cannot find a mobile player, my gallery doesn't work at a mobile, despite I use the update. Can some tell me what I have to do to install/set/use the mobile player?  I only found the mobile player options for use in the gallery.xml file. Do I put this? Thanks

I looked on and I saw that I used the  version 1.9 hmm  with that guide and I embedded this code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<div id="flashcontent">SimpleViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.
<a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash.</a></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", "750", "375", "8", "#FFFFFF");
fo.addVariable("firstImageIndex", "3");
fo.write("flashcontent");

</script>

Is it easy to change it to v. 2.1.3? I made 12 gallery's! I even made changes in the viewer!

When using the recommended embedding code found here, SimpleViewer v2.1.3 will display a gallery using the Flash Player if Adobe Flash Player is detected in the user's browser and will automatically revert to using the Mobile Player if Adobe Flash player is not detected (eg. on mobile devices and in browsers where Adobe Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled).
You can force the gallery to be displayed using the Mobile Player if you like by setting the useFlash Embed Code Parameter to 'false' in the embedding code.

SimpleViewer Pro v1.9 galleries can be upgraded to SimpleViewer Pro v2.1.3 galleries by following the instructions here:

Re: Mobile Player

I tried all this to do, but I really don't understand it. First, I don't get the Pro-version, even if I got it from the link I purchased on 27th of may 2009. Second. I didn't use the svBuilder, I made all the galleries manually, because the Builder has to less possibilities. So if I update the galleries, all my css code has gone and it is overwritten by the svBuilder. What can I do more for the updated version so I get the mobile player?

Upgrades are free within the same major version number so if you have purchased SimpleViewer v2.x, you can download the latest version (v2.1.3) by using the link in your purchase email.

because the Builder has to less possibilities.

SimpleViewer Pro v2.1.3 comes with svBuilder-Pro. svBuilder-Pro incorporates all SimpleViewer Pro Options via an interface.

SimpleViewer v1.9 was essentially a single SWF file.
In order to incorporate the Mobile Player, SimpleViewer v2.1.3 requires many more files (in the 'svcore' folder) and different embedding code: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … html#embed
The format of the gallery's XML file has also significantly changed between v1.9 and v2.1.3.
Therefore, if you were to convert all of your galleries manually, there would be a lot of work involved.
Rather than simply letting svBuilder-Pro convert your galleries (which would overwrite your customized HTML index pages), copy your gallery folders first and let svBuilder-Pro convert the copied folders.
At least this way, you would have a new-style XML file for each gallery which you could copy and paste into your corresponding gallery folders. You could also copy and paste the new-style embedding code that svBuilder-Pro provides into your existing HTML page to replace the v1.9 embedding code. Finally, copy and paste the 'svcore' folder into your gallery folder alongside your HTML page.

I think thats my abuse, I just got the v1.9 years ago and as I now understand, I have to purchase the v2.x and pay again for it?
