Topic: First time SimpleViewer

i bought the pro version yesterday because i wanted a photoviewer in my website.

I installed it and i added some photos and customized it.

then i did publish and viewed it in my browser, but then this message came..

Gallery XML Not Found.

I think i did nothing wrong and all images, etc are in the same folder.

this is what i get when i publish it:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "transparent", true);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

can someone help me?

thanks in advance

Re: First time SimpleViewer

By default, SimpleViewer expects that the gallery's XML file is called 'gallery.xml' and that it is located in the same directory as the HTML page containing your embedding code.
Please see this FAQ for details: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … #trouble_6

If you have renamed or moved the XML file, then you can use the galleryURL option to point to the XML file, eg:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars={};
flashvars.galleryURL="folder_name/gallery123.xml";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "transparent", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

If you continue to experience difficulties, please post the URL to your gallery so that we can take a look.

Re: First time SimpleViewer

Glad you've got it working.
However, your page should use a Doctype Declaration: http://www.w3.org/QA/2002/04/valid-dtd-list.html
Also, there are HTML errors on your page which should be fixed.
You can validate your page using the W3C Markup Validation service: http://validator.w3.org/
