I have edited gallery.xml, pressed ctrl+f5, saved them as non-progressive jpgs, deleted all the standard images from thumbs and images, but I still can't get rid of the standard images and replace them with my images. I can't edit the title, captions or anything either. Help please?
Sounds like you are editing the wrong xml and it is finding the original galleries. Try changing one item, like the caption, in a fresh folder of simpleviewer. If you don't have an unchanged SV set up. you can download another to get a fresh start.
I don't think I am editing the wrong one.
It did change after about an hour or 2, is it supposed to take that long to change? A can't change the title, however, I have waited 24 hours for that too change and it won't, and I have uploaded it quite a few times but it won't change.
Are you clearing your cache?
