Hi,
There is another problem.

This is the code for the head section

        <!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
            <script type="text/javascript" src="svmanager/g2/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
            <script type="text/javascript">
            simpleviewer.ready(function () {
            simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true);
            });
            </script>
        <!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

and the code for the body section

<div id="container">
    <div id="content">
    <div id="sv-container"></div>
    </div>
</div><div id="footer"></div>

The gallery window shows up, but the images are not shown despite the fact I created a gallery. There is always the following error message:"gallery xml not found"

On the other hand, when I log in to svmanager and click on View, the images are shown.

Can you please help?

Re: Problems on includig the gallery

If creating your galleries with svManager but embedding them elsewhere, then you should follow the embedding instructions for 'Using an External Gallery Folder: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#external
Ussentially, use a baseURL to point towards your gallery folder, eg:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svmanager/g2/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars={};
flashvars.baseURL="svmanager/g2/";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

Re: Problems on includig the gallery

Hi
Below is the original code:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.example.com/mygallery/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.baseURL = "http://www.example.com/mygallery/";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

---

How do I have to adapt it to my page? If I do it as above nothing is shown at all. If I use the version below, the images are not found.

    <!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.trashthedresshochzeitsfotografie.com/svmanager/galerie/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript">
        var flashvars = {};
        flashvars.baseURL = "http://www.trashthedresshochzeitsfotogr … svmanager/";
        simpleviewer.ready(function () {
        simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
        });
    </script>

Thank you very much for your kind help.

Re: Problems on includig the gallery

Use the following embedding code:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.trashthedresshochzeitsfotografie.com/svmanager/galerie/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.baseURL = "http://www.trashthedresshochzeitsfotografie.com/svmanager/galerie/";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

Re: Problems on includig the gallery

Hi Steve,
thank you very much for all your kind and quick help. The new code works perfectly.

I only have one more question then I won't bother anymore.

Why does it always take so long to refresh a gallery after having added or deleted some pictures.

Thanks again, you are a darling.

Re: Problems on includig the gallery

Hi Steve,

Sorry, I have to bother again. The background color of my web page is black. Therefore I don't need any background color for the gallery. How can I switch it to black?

Other question: is it possible to toggle off the ad 'simple viewer' at the right bottom of the page?

Kind regards
BlackSwan

Re: Problems on includig the gallery

Why does it always take so long to refresh a gallery after having added or deleted some pictures.

The browser is likely to be caching the gallery's XML file. If you clear your browser's cache before reloading your gallery, you will see the changes immediately.

How can I switch it to black?

Change the backgroundColor Embed Code Parameter, ie. use the following line in your embedding code:

simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "000000", true, flashvars);

is it possible to toggle off the ad 'simple viewer' at the right bottom of the page?

SimpleViewer Pro does not include the SimpleViewer badge/download link in the bottom right-hand corner of the gallery. SimpleViewer Standard (the free version) does.

Hi Steve,

very much for your help. As a matter of fact, I ordered and paid for simpleviewerpro. You can check the site: http://www.trashthedresshochzeitsfotogr … alerie.php

Re: Problems on includig the gallery

The gallery whose link you posted is using SimpleViewer Standard (not Pro), hence the badge in the bottom right-hand corner of the gallery. In order to upgrade svManager from SimpleViewer Standard to SimpleViewer Pro, please see here: http://simpleviewer.net/svmanager/support/#svpro
To upgrade existing galleries, replace the 'svcore' folder in each gallery folder with the 'svcore' folder from the SimpleViewer Pro download package ('simpleviewer_pro_213/web/svcore/').
