Topic: Can't Figure out the Differences, HELP!

I love how the sv galleries display when choosing the "slide" preset.  I have created a gallery using that preset and when I preview the slideshow, I see the entire picture display, nothing is cut off.  Once I embed that slideshow to my site, part of the pictures get cut off.

I created other sv galleries NOT using the "slide" preset and they display the entire image.  However, I don't like how these images look.  I want them to display bigger.

I just don't know enough about coding stuff to make the fix.  If you look at where the site menu displays below the slideshow (about, galleries, pricing, etc.) it displays lower on the screen with my second and third gallery examples.  In my first gallery (the cake smash) where I have the "slide" preset and pictures looking how I want them, the menu appears to be higher on the screen and I'm guessing that's why the pictures are getting cut off?  How do I fix it????

Re: Can't Figure out the Differences, HELP!

Thumbnails in a gallery are not dynamically resized to fit the available space and you have too many rows of thumbnails to fit into your gallery's <iframe> of fixed height 400px.
Try reducing the number of thumbnail rows from thumbRows="6" to thumbRows="4" in your gallery's XML file.

I thought I had my thumbnail position set to "none" because I didn't want thumbs showing.  Just to be sure, I set the thumbnail row and columns to zero, and now it displays much better.  Thank you!  Now I need to fix the other galleries.

So, if I want the gallery to display even larger (without going fullscreen), I'm guessing I have to change the dimensions of the iframe?  Where is the code for that?

Yes. Currently, your gallery has dimensions of 100% by 100% dimensions so it will fill the <iframe> no matter what its size.
Increasing the size of the <iframe> will increase the size of the gallery and, as long as you do not use a Fixed Layout (which you are not currently using), the gallery (though not the thumbnails themselves) will dynamically resize to fill the available area (in your case the <iframe>).

Where is the code for that?

Your <iframe> code is located in your http://www.clickclickphotography.com/ga … /index.php page.

<iframe src="/wp-content/gallery/bigger cake gallery/index.html" frameborder="0" style="" scrolling="no" height="400px" width="100%">Get a better browser!</iframe>[

I do not know how you inserted the <iframe> code into your page (manually in a text editor or via a WordPress post) but the dimensions of the <iframe> can be changed by altering the width and height attributes.

Thank you SO much!  I just figured it out.  I am using a WP plugin called Page View to stream the sv slideshow from flickr.  I figured out where to alter that plugin and now my galleries are displaying larger.
