Topic: Autoviewer requires javascript and the flash player. Get Flash here.

This is driving me nuts. I made one web gallery priceguide using the Airtight Autoviewer within LR. My trial expired and I ordered a copy which is being mailed to me now. However, I wanted to make another priceguide, so I downloaded Autoviewer and installed it as a Script in Photoshop CS4. I built the web gallery, and the preview worked perfectly. However when I uploaded it online, it shows the message:

Autoviewer requires javascript and the flash player. Get Flash Here.

I updated my flash player and I am using updated Java as well (as far as I can tell). I made sure the right files were in the folder (images, gallery.xml, index.html, swfobject.js, viewer.swf) Can anyone help me? You can see the problem here:

Re: Autoviewer requires javascript and the flash player. Get Flash here.

The HTML page of the gallery that does not work is a single continuous line of code with no line feeds/carriage returns.
If you break up the code putting each instruction on a new line (at least for the JavaScript sections) all should be well.
The first JavaScript comment in the code is commenting out all subsequent JavaScript instructions which would not happen if each instruction was on a separate line.

Re: Autoviewer requires javascript and the flash player. Get Flash here.

I understand very basic HTML coding, but beyond that, I'm lost.

Re: Autoviewer requires javascript and the flash player. Get Flash here.

Here is the file as it should be: index.html
Download it (do not worry about the preview when you click the link) and then upload it to your web server replacing the existing 'http://www.lisaslugoski.com/blog/newbornpriceguide2011/index.html' file.
All I did was open the file in a plain text editor, place the cursor where the end of each line should be and then hit the 'enter' key on the keyboard.
Somewhere alone the line, the line feeds had disappeared from your page. Do you have any 'compact code' or 'format code' options enabled in any of your HTML editors? If so, switch them off.

Thanks Steven!! It worked perfectly. And thanks for explaining how you did it (it will help as I refine the guide). smile
