Topic: Adding PayPal Add to Cart button with drop down???

I like the look of this Gallery better than any I've seen. I downloaded the free version and have been playing around with it, viewing it at localhost, but have not tried uploading it to my server.

I would like to have the ability to offer different sizes of prints for sale via PayPal and/or Google Checkout. Is there any way to do this? I don't mind paying for the Pro version if that's what it takes, but don't want to do it if this option is not possible.

I sort of know my way around code, but I'm not a genius at it and have not done any programming at all in about 2 years, so am way behind the technology. I need some pretty specific instructions on how to do it if it is possible.

Thanks,
Alisa

Re: Adding PayPal Add to Cart button with drop down???

You could use HTML formatting for your captions to include a PayPal button linking to a unique PayPal payment page.
Please see here for details: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#custom_1
A sample caption might look something like this:

Image caption goes here

Using the code above, you would need to include the PayPal image and replace the URL with your own unique PayPal payment page address.

This will work just as well in SimpleViewer Standard (the free version) as it will in SimpleViewer Pro so you can try it before purchasing SimpleViewer Pro.
Please be aware that links in captions will not work locally and will work only when the gallery is uploaded to a web server.

Could you post the url or a few active websites that are using PayPal so I can see what is possible?

Thanks,

I do not know of any but to see an active link in a caption, view the first image in this sample gallery: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/examples/modern/
