Topic: Fullscreen button not working when centered

There seems to be some sort of glitch with this that I can't get out:
When I embed my gallery, the fullscreen button as well as the link to the flickr image button both work wonderfully: http://leahjohnston.com/photography2.php

However, when I simply try to center the embedded gallery, either by the <center> code or by css auto margins, the buttons no longer work. I have tried several different means of centering the gallery and nothing seems to allow the buttons to work. Observe:

How can I make it so the gallery is both centered, and functioning properly?

Thank-you in advance!

Re: Fullscreen button not working when centered

When viewing the http://leahjohnston.com/photography.php gallery with Adobe Flash Player, both the 'Open Flickr Page' button and the 'Fullscreen' button work in Firefox 6.0.2, IE9, Safari 5.1 and Chrome 13 on my PC.
However, when viewing the gallery with the Mobile Player, your drop-down menu seems to be obscuring the buttons.
Try setting your gallery's background to transparent by changing the line:

simpleviewer.load('sv-container', '650', '650', '000000', true);

... to:

simpleviewer.load('sv-container', '650', '650', 'transparent', true);

Re: Fullscreen button not working when centered

Thanks for your response.  I implemented changes you mentioned. I am on Safari 5.1 or in Firefox 6.0.2 on mac but still doesn't seem to be working... at a loss for what to do.

Re: Fullscreen button not working when centered

Your 'menu' <div> is obscuring the top half of your gallery (including the Fullscreen button).
Try removing 'z-index:100;' from the '.menu' section of the 'css/dropdown.css' file.

Re: Fullscreen button not working when centered

Oh I see. Yes, when I remove the z-index it doesn't help, but when I set it to -1 the fullscreen buttons work properly, but then the menu doesn't work. I guess I'll have to choose one or the other. In this case, I guess it's more important to have the menu navigation working than the fullscreen button sad
