Topic: Tiltviewer immages do nt show on my website

I have not found a solution to this problem on this forum yet. Any help will be deeply appreciated.
I created a gallery with a Tiltviewer plugin for Adobe Lightroom 3. All of the files created were uploaded to my site's server. I have followed the instructions on the Embedding TiltViewer in an existing HTML page and copy pasted the HTML code to my page. When I click on the index.html file on the server, the photos can be seen along with the custom settings as background color, gallery size, etc. However, when I view the page, only the navigation arrows show up. I am new to HTML so I am not sure what part of the code points to my images. Below is the code embedded on my page. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

fo.addVariable("bkgndOuterColor", '0x000000');

fo.addVariable("linkLabel", "Click to follow link");
fo.addParam("allowFullScreen","true");
fo.write("flashcontent");

fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "false");
fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery.xml");
fo.addVariable("maxJPGSize","640");

</script>
</body>
</html>

Re: Tiltviewer immages do nt show on my website

The line:

fo.write("flashcontent");

... should be placed after all the 'fo.addParam' and 'fo.addVariable' lines.
You also have two duplicate entries (useFlickr and maxJPGSize), one of which (maxJPGSize) has been given two different values.
Please post the URL to your gallery so that we can take a look and help further.
It would be much easier to troubleshoot if we see the gallery in question.

Re: Tiltviewer immages do nt show on my website

Steven,

Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I will make the corrections you noted. Below is the URL to my page containing the gallery. I am currently redoing my website so this page has not been published yet. Let me know if you find anything else.

Sorry! here is the URL    http://www.fotografixs.net/home_page2.html

Re: Tiltviewer immages do nt show on my website

Your gallery's XML file has entries such as:

<photo linkurl="" imageurl="images/haley_field2.jpg" showFlipButton="true">

Therefore, TiltViewer is looking for an image at the location:
http://www.fotografixs.net/images/haley_field2.jpg
... and there is no such image at this location.
Check the location of your images and/or the paths to the images in the XML file.
The imageurl can be relative (to the HTML document containing the SWF file) or absolute.

Re: Tiltviewer immages do nt show on my website

Steven,
Thanks a million for your help. I am new at this so I didn't realize that the code in the XML file is what pointed to the content in the gallery. Indeed the images were in the wrong place. Apparently, when the gallery is created with TilTvier within Adobe Lightroom, it puts the images in a sub directory under the project folder. When I uploaded the folder to my site's server, the images were located in the sub folder. I moved the images folder to the root directory and the images appeared.

I would like to get the TiltViewer pro version but also noticed there is a svmanager available. Does the svmanager come with TiltViewer, SimpleViewer and AutoViewer included or do these have to be purchased separately?

Again, thanks so much for your help. I really appreciated it.

Does the svmanager come with TiltViewer, SimpleViewer and AutoViewer included or do these have to be purchased separately?

svManager comes with the Standard versions of all four viewers.
Pro viewers are separate purchases. You can purchase each Pro viewer individually or all four viewers with svManager as a bundle.
If you do purchase svManager and TiltViewer-Pro, instructions for 'Using svManager with a Pro viewer' can be found here: http://simpleviewer.net/svmanager/support/#svpro

Re: Tiltviewer immages do nt show on my website

Got it! one last thing. Since the standard viewers are already plug-ins within Adobe Lightroom, can svManager and the viewer pro versions be added as plug-ins as well?

Re: Tiltviewer immages do nt show on my website

can svManager and the viewer pro versions be added as plug-ins as well?

svManager cannot be used as a plug-in for Lightroom. It is a standalone PHP web application. However, galleries created by Lightroom may be imported into svManager by following these instructions: http://simpleviewer.net/svmanager/support/#importscreen

The AutoViewer and PostcardViewer Lightroom templates can be upgraded from Standard to Pro by following the instructions in these links:
http://simpleviewer.net/autoviewer/pro/ … #lightroom
http://simpleviewer.net/postcardviewer/ … #lightroom
The SimpleViewer Lightroom template can be downloaded from here: http://theturninggate.net/galleries/fla … eviewer-2/
Instructions for upgrading it from Standard to Pro can be found on the same page.
