Topic: Help with SV2 and Yahoo Sitebuilder

I am unable to get SV to work in Yahoo Sitebuilder. I have read the other posts and am still unable to view it. I am using Firefox. I have uploaded the entire SV folder into the Yahoo Sitebuilder folder that contains my html.doc. I even tried specifying 100% height value for the html, body and script divider but I'm not sure if the code was correct.

The SV browser previews shows perfectly. The YSB version does not even load.
I would like for my page to look like this, along with a customized heading:
http://www.georgerodrigue.com/originalb … edogs.html

My url is http://strokeofsoul.com/index2.html

This is my original SV script.
<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Help with SV2 and Yahoo Sitebuilder

There appears to be no embedding code on the page to which you linked.
Check that you have inserted the embedding code into 'index2.html' or please post back with the URL to the page into which the non-functioning gallery is embedded.

Ok. I've posted the link into the index2.html page. It's still not showing.

Re: Help with SV2 and Yahoo Sitebuilder

It looks like your gallery's 'svcore' folder has not been uploaded to the correct location.
Your 'index2.html' page includes the following line:

<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>

So the browser will be looking for the JavaScript file at this location:
http://strokeofsoul.com/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js
However, going directly to this address in a browser results in an error 404 (file not found).
Make sure your gallery's 'svcore' folder has been uploaded to the root of your web server alongside your 'index2.html' page.

Re: Help with SV2 and Yahoo Sitebuilder

sad
I'm not sure why the index2.html has that script. That script was created in Simple Viewer. I'm also getting a tad bit lost. I've created a folder right alongside the index2.html page in both YSB and in the webroot folder. I uploaded them to the net and it's still not showing.

What am I doing wrong and would I be able to send you screen shots to help?

Re: Help with SV2 and Yahoo Sitebuilder

Try uploading your gallery files using an FTP program such as Filezilla rather than Yahoo! SiteBuilder and check with your web host to make sure that you are uploading them to the correct location in order for them to be publicly accessible in the root of your domain.
Also, please check your email. I have sent you a message.
