Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

title="<font size="30"> <font face= "Arial">
<a href="mailto:dh@davehutchinson.me.uk">dave hutchinson photography"

Hope that helps

Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

Thanks dave,
the tip seems ok but unfortunatelly it doesn't seem to work.
the page doesn't even want to open at all with this line...

Here's what I have for Tittle, including your hyperlink tip.
title="<font size="17"> <font face= "Eurostile BoldExtendedTwo"><a href="mailto:chrisvial@noos.fr">CHRISTOPHE VIAL            Location & Production Manager         00 33 611 754 128"

does that seem correct?

Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

I copied your text and tried it on a local copy of my gallery.xml file and everything works fine.
E-mail opens up correctly to your address

Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

ok
it works... I had a mistake in another line.

Thanks for your help on this Dave.

Don't know if you could answer this (or someone else...) but I also would like to change the caracters color in the tittle.  They are white and I would like to get them grey or "light grey"...
any suggestions?

right now my code about these caracters is: 0xffffff

is it possible to have a different color for tittle and image captions?

Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

I think it's all or nothing. The textcolour command dictates everything from that point on, even if you specify a different one further down in HTML code.

Here's one back at ya!...

Here's my text, but the links won't activate, even though they copy fine, a new window won't open.

href="http://www.yahoo.co.uk">Macro  <a

href="http://www.rcn.org.uk">Animals</font> </p>"

Any ideas?

Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

unfortunately no ideas about it...
I guess on color fits for the all text and that's it. lest's do with it...
as well for severall hyperlinks zone.
I think you can ad some in the  images caption fields though...
(see the FAQ zone on this web site)

About colors I tried different things and get some yellow, green, red caracters... but still could'nt find grey...(Grrrr!!!)

Actually I just get this free version of simpleviewer 4/5 days ago and I am just discovering the all  flash thing and xlm document langage... I'm really a beginner with this stuff.
not so easy but I've already learned a few things, getting tips from the web or forums...
Not enough though!! But I guess that we shouldn't ask too much about such a software. it's made to be... simple... But It's seems quite customizable though...

New question: is it possible to have severall simpleviewer pages on the same webpage?
with a little sign saying page1, page2, ... on each page?

Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

You guys can create a second caption textbox and add your links there and postition it where title is, leaving title blank.
You can change the colours, from a previous post

Hello,

I'm using simpleviewer on a stones company website and i needed to have the title text color different from the caption text color, cause they have diferrent background colors, so i add a line to viewer.as on the section //get data from XML after line 45:

tColor = gXMLRoot.attributes.titleColor;

then on the imagedata.xml add the follow attribute:

titleColor="your_color"

I that it will be nice to include this feature on the swf version.

Re: How can insert an hyperlink in the text zone of simpleviewer

"so i add a line to viewer.as on the section //get data from XML after line 45:

tColor = gXMLRoot.attributes.titleColor; "

actually I'm on the free 1.8 version of simple viewer.
does this tip for text colour and 2nd  caption text box works on it too?

I don't have any "viewer.as" file but a swfobject.js
is it the same thing?
I couldn't find any " section //get data from XML after line 45:" on this document...
So I'm still stucked with this text color problem.
thanks for help ...
