Topic: no universal playback in WP-SV?

I'm a long time user and devotee to SV pro and love universal playback ability.

Just started using WP-SV plugin and it doesn't seem to have universal playback as well.
Am I missing something or have I installed it incorrectly.
IE -  WP SV galleries work in flash environments, but not on iPad / iPhones.

The current version of WP-SimpleViewer uses SimpleViewer-Standard v2.2.0 and does include Universal Playback, ie. the Mobile Player will be used to display the gallery on a mobile device or in a browser which does not have Adobe Flash Player installed and enabled.
Please post the URL to your gallery so that we can take a look.

gotcha-

on mobile device I am getting "gallery xml not found"
just realized that is different than flash issue.
what am I doing wrong to get this error?

... but the galleryURL in your gallery's embedding code is:

flashvars73.galleryURL = "http://www.korenman.com/showupshowoff/gallery/wp-content/uploads/73.xml";

Note the different domains.
If you visit http://www.korenman.com/showupshowoff/gallery/ in a non-Flash browser, your gallery will successfully be displayed by the Mobile Player.
Either change the URL when viewing the gallery or change the path to your 'uploads' folder in WordPress so that they match.

it works!

but now my flash galleries show thumbnails but no first image?!
I did rebuild the galleries as well.

any advice?

In your gallery's XML file, the thumbURLs and imageURLs are on different domains, eg:

MUCH thanks - more of a WP issue now..
since I fixed the url issue all my media files need to be updated as to their proper location so SV can function properly.

the files do live in:
http://www.korenman.com/showupshowoff/g … nt/uploads

but the blog is assigned and registered to
www.showupshowoff.net (a subdomain of www.korenman.com)

how can get WP to adjust all 600 media files to point only to
www.showupshowoff.net/gallery/wp-content/uploads ??

AHH! fixed - with a workaround.

Newly uploaded files get the correct url and work fine, but SV thinks older uploaded files are at a different URL.
I went in and edited the XML files by hand so the older SV galleries now point to correct location of image and now it works.
