Topic: Not loading on Root

I do not want to load the contents of my folder on the root because I already have an images file.
If I upload the whole "simpleViewer" folder what changed need to be made?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Not loading on Root

Please see the section entitled 'Using an External Gallery Folder' in the 'SimpleViewer Embedding Guide' for details: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#external
Essentially, you can upload an entire gallery folder (not just the contents) to anywhere on your web server and use the baseURL method to embed the gallery in an HTML page.

Re: Not loading on Root

Thanks. I saw that I guess I am having a hard time understanding this; "Set the simpleviewer.js import src path to the relative or absolute URL of the simpleviewer.js file in the gallery folder svcore/js folder
Set the baseURL value to the relative or absolute URL of the gallery folder."

Re: Not loading on Root

As an example, say that you have a gallery folder named 'gallery1' and that your domain is named 'www.example.com'.
If you upload the entire gallery folder to the root of your web space, then you could use the following embedding code in any HTML page on your web server:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.example.com/gallery1/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.baseURL = "http://www.example.com/gallery1/";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->
