Topic: New "Fatal error" which I couldn't find in search.

Hi,

Issue started to occur when I've moved my blog root directory...
I've made more or less everything working.

Beyond this plugin,
Tried to upgrade, reinstall etc.

Right now this is what i see:

On a gallery placeholder I've:

Warning: DOMDocument::load() [domdocument.load]: I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/1.xml" in .... /prodrive11.com/public_html/car-blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer/wp-simpleviewer.php on line 795

Fatal error: Call to a member function getAttribute() on a non-object in .... /prodrive11.com/public_html/car-blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer/wp-simpleviewer.php on line 800

And on a admin site - plugins - simpleviewer:

Warning: opendir() [function.opendir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/.... :/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php/) in .... /prodrive11.com/public_html/car-blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer/wp-simpleviewer.php on line 754

replaced absolute path with ....

Tanks for any help,
I really used to like this plugin.

Re: New "Fatal error" which I couldn't find in search.

If you have moved your entire WordPress directory, then the absolute paths to the gallery's XML file and to the thumbnails and images within the gallery's XML file are likely to be incorrect.
Make sure WordPress can find the new location for its 'wp-contents/uploads/' folder.
Depending on how many galleries you have, you could manually edit the XML files (within the 'wp-contents/uploads/' folder) in a plain text editor so that the imageURLs and thumbURLs point to the images and thumbnails in their new locations. A global search and replace for each XML file should be all that is required.

Thanks for response, however I did exactly what you've suggested:

here's my new 1.xml:   (only thing which changed is /car-blog - previously it was /blog/)

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<simpleviewergallery maxImageWidth="1100" maxImageHeight="800" textColor="0xffffff" frameColor="0xffffff" frameWidth="0" thumbColumns="5" thumbRows="1" thumbPosition="TOP" title="" showOpenButton="false" showFullscreenButton="true" languageCode="AUTO" languageList="" galleryStyle="MODERN" useFlickr="false" flickrUserName="" flickrTags="">
  <image imageURL="http://www.prodrive11.com/car-blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/min3.jpg" thumbURL="" imageLinkURL="" imageLinkTarget="">
    <caption/>
  </image>
  <image imageURL="http://www.prodrive11.com/car-blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/min2.jpg" thumbURL="" imageLinkURL="" imageLinkTarget="">
    <caption/>
  </image>
  <image imageURL="http://www.....

and 2.xml

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<simpleviewergallery maxImageWidth="800" maxImageHeight="600" textColor="0xffffff" frameColor="0xffffff" frameWidth="0" thumbColumns="5" thumbRows="1" thumbPosition="BOTTOM" title="zdjecia" showOpenButton="true" showFullscreenButton="true" languageCode="AUTO" languageList="" galleryStyle="COMPACT" useFlickr="false" flickrUserName="" flickrTags=""><image imageURL="http://www.prodrive11.com/car-blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/filled.png" thumbURL="http://www.prodrive11.com/car-blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/filled-150x150.png" linkURL="http://www.prodrive11.com/car-blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/filled.png" linkTarget="_blank"><caption></caption></image></simpleviewergallery>

What I also did,
I've removed everything from my uploads, and try to create new simpleviewer gallery from scratch....
without success.

Result is the second 'quote' from my first post.

Did you deactivate and delete the WP-SimpleViewer plugin before reinstalling it from scratch?
If so, then something else may have happened during the move that is causing the problem.
