Re: is there a way to add type to a finished show?

You can use a gallery title (which is displayed no matter what main image is being viewed) which can be formatted (and positioned) using the 'Title Options': http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/pr … html#title
You can also have individual captions for each image which can be formatted (and positioned) using the 'Caption Options': http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/pr … ml#caption

The gallery title is set via the 'title' attribute to the opening <simpleviewer> tag in the gallery's XML file.
The captions are set within <caption> tags in each <image> section in the XML file.
eg.

<simpleviewergallery title="Title Goes Here">
    <image thumbURL="thumbs/thumb.jpg" imageURL="images/image.jpg">
        <caption>Caption Goes Here</caption>
    </image>
</simpleviewergallery>

You can use HTML formatting within the title and captions in order to break the title/captions into multiple lines and to format different sections of the title/captions differently.
Please see these two FAQs for details:
http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#custom_1
http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#custom_2

If using svBuilder-Pro to create your gallery, you do not need to worry about escaping any characters. For example, you could enter the following as a title:

Line 1<br>Line 2

The title's font is set via the titleFontName option and the caption's font is set via the captionFontName.
You can override these settings by using the <font> tag within the title and captions themselves.
Please note, however, that no matter how you set the font, it must be installed on the user's machine to be displayed.
There is no way to embed a font.
