Topic: Embedding Problems

Hello

I downloaded and created a gallery using svbuilder. It was pretty easy. I used photos from my computer. I'm trying to build a website in which i'll have a section named "gallery" among other sections. The webhosting that webhosting24 gave me is this

http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/5704/siteao.jpg

So i want to upload it on my website. When i click from section home to section gallery (index-1) nothing appears to me

The html code for this function i wrote is this (line 179)

How will i upload the entire svcore file to my webhosting? I can only upload files, not folders. How am i supposed to do it? One by one?

i have put these files svbuilder folder

can anyone tell me which files and folders i have to create in order to appear the gallery on my site?

Use an FTP program such as Filezilla. You will then be able to upload your entire gallery folder to your web site in a single action.

If you plan to upload your entire gallery folder to your web server, then the gallery can be embedded into a web page by using one of the two methods described here: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#external
If you simply want to link to the gallery (so that it is displayed on its own page), then link to the 'index.html' file within the gallery folder.

Re: Embedding Problems

Hi,
I also have a problem with embedded gallery.

I have multiple gallery (using Flickr) in my website so I had to change de location of the gallery.xml.  I modify the path in the code of my webpage, but it doesn't seam to work when the site is online. Otherwise, it works when I look at it locally and online but only on my computer. It's so weird...
You can see the site here:
http://www.nomadlivingpanama.com/epreuv … illas.html

And there is the code :
     <!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.nomadlivingpanama.com/gallery/zapatillas/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.baseURL = "http://www.nomadlivingpanama.com/gallery/zapatillas/";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "800px", "600px", "transparent", false, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->

Thank you for helping me!

@mediaurbain

Your gallery displays OK in browsers on my computer.
If you have recently made any changes to your gallery, try clearing your browser's cache before reloading the gallery in order to see the changes you have made.

Also, I notice that you have forced your gallery to be displayed by the Mobile Player (even if Adobe Flash Player is installed and enabled in the user's browser).
This is due to the 'false' embed code parameter in the following line.

simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "800px", "600px", "transparent", false, flashvars);

There is nothing wrong with this but I thought I should point it out in case it was not what you intended.

Re: Embedding Problems

@Steven Speirs
Thanks! The problem was with the «false» embed code parameter.
