Topic: link in caption

How do I make a link in the caption. Also, how do I make an imagine in the gallery link to a different page.
Thanks

Re: link in caption

How do I make a link in the caption.

Use HTML formatting as described in this FAQ: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … l#custom_1
A simple caption with a link might look something like this:

Link Text Goes Here

Also, how do I make an imagine in the gallery link to a different page.

Set imageClickMode="OPEN_URL" in your gallery's XML file.
When the user clicks on an image, the corresponding linkURL will open in the specified linkTarget., eg:

A full description of the imageClickMode Pro Option can be found in the 'Main Image' section of the SimpleViewer-Pro Config Options page: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/pr … #mainimage

Re: link in caption

so I added the caption link code to the xml file, and I see that that there is a link, but it does not work. I changed my settings to allow flash to communicate with the website I am trying to link to, but that didn't help. Maybe I am doing something wrong....any ideas???
Thanks again for your help!

Links within captions will work only when the gallery has been uploaded to a web server. If you have uploaded your gallery to a web server and are still experiencing difficulties, please post the URL to your gallery so that we can take a look.
