Topic: Which is better

I am going to be using SimpleViewer for the first time and am trying to figure out which program is easier to use in everyone's opinions. Photoshop or svBuilder?

Am I asking that right? My head is kind of spinning from everything. I am very new to website design and found out about simpleviewer and autoviewer for building galleries for iweb website.

Is that right?

Re: Which is better

svBuilder, which comes with SimpleViewer-Standard (the free version), has more options than the Photoshop script. For example, it has more control over the resizing of the images for the gallery and allows you to enter individual captions for each image via the interface without having to manually edit any files after the gallery has been created.

Also, although the Photoshop script can be upgraded to produce SimpleViewer-Pro galleries, the Pro Options will not be available in the user interface. You would need to edit the gallery's XML file after the gallery has been created.
svBuilder-Pro, which comes with SimpleViewer-Pro, allows you to change all Pro Options via its interface and has a live preview window which shows you exactly how your gallery looks as you make changes.

More information on svBuilder, svBuilder-Pro and the Photoshop script can be found in the following pages:
svBuilder: which comes with SimpleViewer-Standard (the free version)
svBuilder-Pro: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … uilderpro/
Photoshop script: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … cript.html

Re: Which is better

Try using SimpleViewer first. SimpleViewer includes svBuilder which allows you to easily create SimpleViewer galleries. Download link and instructions are here: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/support/#start
