Topic: When customer doesn't have flash...

I'm fetching my images directly form picasa using the "xml.php" method, but for what I'm using it for, a lot of our customers check the gallery on their phones and don't have flash. What I'd like to do, is instead of having the message that says to get Flash player to see gallery, a simple list of all my image "tags" show up.

I have no problem doing the php for this, but when it comes to javascript calling up and displaying that php file, I'm clueless.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

Re: When customer doesn't have flash...

Rather than use the default content for the 'flashcontent' <div> (the 'Get Flash here.' message):

<div id="flashcontent">TiltViewer requires JavaScript and the latest Flash player. <a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/">Get Flash here.</a></div>

... you could use the following:

<div id="flashcontent">
    <?php include(“script.php”); ?>
</div>

Where your 'script.php' page would fetch your images from Picasa's servers and list them within <img> tags.
In a Flash-enabled browser, the contents of the 'flashcontent' <div> will be completely replaced by the Flash gallery but on mobile devices and in non-Flash-enabled browsers, the contents of the 'flashcontent' <div> (your images) would be displayed.

This method was originally used here to make SimpleViewer SEO friendly (before SimpleViewer featured Universal Playback).
The script on that page listed images from the gallery's XML file in a format for SimpleViewer.
You could perhaps adapt the script to list images from Picasa's servers in a format for TiltViewer.
