Neither svBuilder-Pro nor a gallery created by svBuilder-Pro can be used as a WordPress plugin.

You could use WP-SimpleViewer (the dedicated SimpleViewer plugin for WordPress) to create and embed a SimpleViewer gallery in a WordPress post from within the WordPress dashboard.

Alternatively, you could use svBuilder-Pro to create and embed a SimpleViewer gallery in a WordPress post by following these instructions:
(1) Create a gallery with svBuilder-Pro
(2) Upload the entire gallery folder (not just the contents) to your web server with an FTP program such as Filezilla. It does not matter where on your web server you upload the gallery to as long as you know where it is.
(3) Embed the gallery in a WordPress post by inserting embedding code into the body of the post (ensuring that the method of entry is 'HTML' rather than 'Visual'). You can use either the baseURL method or the <iframe> method of embedding, both of which are documented here.

Re: Making gallery with SVBuilder pro and placing it in WP

Hi Steven, when I follow your instructions to the letter I get Gallery XML not found.
I have www.dankbaar.com/Venne where resides my WP site.
I changed the embedding file to:

<!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED.-->
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.dankbaar.com/Venne/Vogelmannen/svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.baseURL = "http://www.dankbaar.com/Venne/Vogelmannen/";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
});
</script>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<!-- END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->
But it seems to matter where I place Vogelmannen which is my Gallery.
So how do I make this work?? Do I have to place it in the plugins/wp-simpleviewer folder? Even then I get the same error.
Please advise

ps I used HTML smile

Re: Making gallery with SVBuilder pro and placing it in WP

The baseURL should point towards your gallery folder but http://www.dankbaar.com/Venne/Vogelmannen/ does not seem to be your gallery folder as there is no 'gallery.xml' file inside the directory and http://www.dankbaar.com/Venne/Vogelmann … eviewer.js does not exist.

But it seems to matter where I place Vogelmannen which is my Gallery.

If does not matter where you upload your gallery folder to as long as the two paths within the embedding code point towards it.
Check that all your gallery files (and subfolders) exist in your http://www.dankbaar.com/Venne/Vogelmannen/ directory.

Re: Making gallery with SVBuilder pro and placing it in WP

Hi Steven, thanks it is working like a charm smile
But it is not showing the main image.
Only the thumbnails show up.
What do I need to do to correct that?

Re: Making gallery with SVBuilder pro and placing it in WP

The main image is displayed when I view your gallery in browsers on my PC.
If you see only a grid of thumbnails, then perhaps you are viewing the Mobile Player version of the gallery which is used to display the gallery on mobile devices and in browsers which do not have Adobe Flash Player installed and enabled.

Please see this FAQ for details:
When I view my gallery I see a grid of thumbnails, not the layout I specified. Why?
