Topic: Gallery does not display

Hello,

I seem to be having the same problem as drdrday's client. I've tried testing on mac with firefox and safari, pc with chrome and firefox. I've checked all machines and browsers for latest updates for flash and have ensured java is enabled, still nothing but the message that SV requires flash and java and have ensured that my server is capable of hosting SV galleries (even though I've been using SV for years now outside of wordpress with no issues) and have cleared all caches etc.

I can, however, see drdrday's client's website SV gallery just fine! As I said, I have been using SV for years but recently made the switch to wordpress to build my new site.

Any more thoughts since the last post? Thanks!

Hi Steve,

The gallery should appear on the opening page here http://www.bennstorey.com/

I've stripped out all other content from the site just in case it was a conflict with something else.

I reloaded an old gallery outside of wordpress to be sure it wasn't something on the server side, that gallery works http://bennstorey.com/HOLD/photography-slideshow/

Clearly, there's something I'm doing wrong.

Your gallery at http://www.bennstorey.com/ looks to have the latest version of WP-SimpleViewer (v2.3.0) installed and activated (which uses embedding code which was introduced in SimpleViewer v2.1.3) but the 'simpleviewer.js' file that your gallery uses is SimpleViewer-Pro v2.1.0 (which does not recognise the embedding code used).
Please upgrade the plugin to the current version of SimpleViewer-Pro (v2.3.0).
Please see the Upgrading SimpleViewer-Pro page to get the latest version of SimpleViewer-Pro and follow the instructions here to upgrade WP-SimpleViewer to SimpleViewer-Pro (using the latest Pro files).

Thanks for the fix. Unfortunately, my SV pro version is 1.9. so I'm not eligible to upgrade to the 2.0 version releases.

Thanks for your help, this would have driven me crazy trying to figure out the issue.
